PURPOSE:To prevent pulsation by discharging fluid in the state of substantially uniform smooth flow and permit to keep a constant flow amount continuously by a method wherein a control motor is provided and is connected to a plunger through a pinion so that a motion, in which suction and delivery are effected simultaneously, and the other motion, in which only delivery is effected, are effected alternately. CONSTITUTION:When the plunger 34 is descended to the lowest limit thereof, delivery of liquid from a delivery port 33 is stopped and the liquid remains in a cavity 14. Under this condition, the motor 8 is stopped, the motor 9 is rotated into normal (or reverse) direction, the plunger 34 is rotated by 180 deg. to oppose the notch groove 5 of the plunger 4 to a suction port 2 and the lower opening of a connecting flow path 13 is closed by the outer peripheral surface of the plunger 34. Then, the motor 9 is stopped and the motor 8 is rotated into normal (or reverse) direction to ascend the plunger 34 through the pinion 7. According to this operation, the liquid is induced into the cylinder 31 through the suction port 2 and the notch groove 5 and, simultaneously, the remaining liquid in the cavity 14 is discharged through the delivery port 33 in accordance with the ascending of the plunger 34. Accordingly, the liquid is delivered in the state of substantially uniform smooth flow and the constant flow amount may be kept continuously.
