Abstract:
K 5380 Process for the preparation of atmospheric hydrocarbon oil distillate(s). A vacuum residue is catalytically hydrotreated. The hydrotreated product is separated by distillation into atmospheric distillate(s) and a residue. At least part of the residue is separated by deasphalting into a deasphalted oil and asphalt. The deasphalted oil is catalytically caracked to one or more atmospheric distillates. At least 50 %w of the asphalt is recycled to the catalytic hydrotreatment.
