Abstract:
PURPOSE:The titled recovering agent that contains 20S-prosapogenin obtained from a kind of ginseng as the effective component. CONSTITUTION:3-[ O-beta-D-Gluconopyranosyl( 1 2 )-beta-D-gluconopyranoside ]- 20S-protopanaxadiol is used as the effective component to produce an agent for recovering stress symptom complicated by automatic imbalance. The compound of the formula is a novel one which has been synthesized by the present inventor through the partial fission of the glycoside part in the ginsenosides (Rb1, Rb2, Rb3, Rc, Rd) extracted from ''otane-ninjin(a kind of ginseng). The tests with Sart- stress mice and animals stressed by dipping in water under bound states have showed this compound has activities of inhibiting or recovering the stress symptoms complicated with automatic imbalance.
