PURPOSE:To provide a compact and energy-saved titled device by supplying CH generated in a digestion tank into a gas holder, which is provided said tank and is made watertight with liquid in a water tank provided in the outside of said tank, passing through a water sealed safety device, which is provided additionally. CONSTITUTION:A digestion tank 1 is formed with bottom wall 2, side wall 3 and roofing wall 4 into one body and is tightly sealed, and, in the outside of the tank 1, a water tank 5 having opening in upward is provided as surrounding the tank 1. And, a gas holder 7 which is disposed into liquid 6 filled in the tank 5 so as to move up and down freely is provided coaxially with the tank 1. Further, in the outside of the tank 5, a pitted vessel 13 is provided, water sealed safety devices 14, 14 are built into the one end part of this vessel, and, at the outside of the another end part, a vessel 15 for raw swage and a storage vessel 16 are provided in a line, where the raw swage consisted of excretions and water is stored in the vessel 15. By the above constitution, the raw swage supplied into the tank 1 from the vessel 15 is treated in the tank fermentively, then generated gaseous CH4 is made to pass through the devices 14, 14, thereupon it is supplied into the holder 7, or is discharged to out of the system. Thus, the tank 1, the tank 5 and the holder 7 are concentratedly provided to constitute them in a vertical arrangement, therefore, the whole device is made compact, thereby, energy needed is saved, and, at the same time, the operation rate is improved.
