Abstract:
PURPOSE:To heat-exchange particles uniformly and effectively by forming on a through a vibration transfer layer of particles in which the particles being vibrated are transferred floatingly and arranging a heat exchanger within the vibration transfer layer so that the heat exchange can be performed by the contact between the vibrated particles and the heat exchanger. CONSTITUTION:A raw material mixed gas fed from a gas inlet 2 is divided by a louver 26 into particles and gas. The separated gas flows to a gas exhaust port 4 to be brought into contact with a heat transmitting pipe 9a through which a cooling medium is circulated. Thus, the gas is cooled. On the other hand, the separated particles sink on the vibrating trough 6 and form a substantially uniform layer due to the vibration of the trough 6, while it is transferred toward the raw material exhaust port. In this while, the particles float up due to the vibration to contact the heat transmitting pipe 9a. Thus, the heat exchange can be performed. According to the heat exchanger of this type, a uniform and effective heat exchange of the particles can be performed by controlling the vibration amplitude and frequency of the trough 6 so that of the vibration transfer layer can have an appropriate thickness in view of the quantity and the moisture containing rate of particles to be treated.
