Abstract:
耐アーク性に優れたTi3SiC2質材料、電極、スパークプラグ、及びその製造方法を提供する。本発明のTi3SiC2質材料は、主相がTi3SiC2であり、TiC含有率が0.5質量%以下、開気孔率が0.5%以下である。主相のTi3SiC2のSiを、Alに0〜30mol%置換することも好ましい。本発明のスパークプラグは、Ti3SiC2質材料によって形成された電極を備える。
