A control device (14), comprising: a modification instruction receiving unit (62) for receiving modification instructions for a control parameter (54) and for a machining program (52); a history storage control unit (64) for causing a storage unit (48) to store a modification history (56) for the control parameter (54) and the machining program (52); an Undo/Redo processing unit (66) for performing Undo/Redo based on the modification history (56); a determination unit (68) for determining whether a prescribed condition has been met; and a history deletion control unit (70) for deleting the modification history (56) if the determination unit (68) has determined that the prescribed condition has been met.
