Abstract:
Upon receiving a plurality of characters or character strings to be registered in a database, this information processing device calculates a plurality of vectors corresponding respectively to the plurality of characters or character strings. The information processing device classifies the calculated plurality of vectors into a plurality of clusters according to the distance between the vectors. The information processing device obtains, for each of the plurality of clusters, a representative vector representing the one or plurality of vectors included in the cluster, and the distance from the representative vector of each cluster that corresponds to the size of the one or plurality of vectors included in the cluster. The information processing device stores, in a storage unit, dictionary information in which the calculated representative vectors and the obtained distances are associated with cluster identification information identifying each cluster.
