Battery modules (3) are arranged adjacently to one another in a tray (2) from front to back and left to right, and a cross member (11) is disposed between front and back battery modules (3) so as to traverse the tray (2) from left to right. This cross member (11) is configured to be hollow, with a front wall (11e) and a back wall (11f) connected by four structural walls (11a to 11d). In a state in which the third and fourth structural walls (11c, 11d) are left, a top notch (16) is formed in a top edge of the cross member (11), and a bottom notch (17) is formed in a bottom edge of the cross member (11). Reinforcements (18) are disposed on both left and right sides of the tray (2), and, on extension lines of the third and fourth structural walls (11d) of the cross member (11) in the up and down direction, upper and lower flange sections (18b, 18c) of the left and right reinforcements (18) are joined on the respective outer lateral surfaces of the tray (2), whereby a load path structure is formed on left and right paths along the cross member (11).
