Abstract:
Disclosed is a visceral fat measuring equipment capable of measuring the quantity of visceral fat easily and nonpenetratively.  The visceral fat measuring equipment calculates the quantity of visceral fat on the basis of trunk measurement information, the impedance information of the entire trunk and the impedance information of a trunk surface layer.  A belt for wrapping the trunk comprises an application member (310) having electrodes (E) and adapted to be applied to the back of a person to be measured, a pair of belt sections (320) fixed individually on the two sides of the application member (310), and a buckle (330) for fixing the pair of belt sections (320).  The visceral fat measuring equipment is characterized in that the pair of belt sections (320) are individually provided with indexes indicating the distances from a reference position of the belt.
