Abstract:
A pneumatic tire (1) having projections (50) projecting outward from side wall sections (SW) in the width direction of the tread and arranged at intervals in the circumferential direction of the tire. The projections (50) each have a circular arc section (50A) which extends in the radial direction of the tire and which has a circular shape in a cross-section thereof perpendicular to the radial direction of the tire. Each circular arc section (50A) is at least provided at a position (P) at which the tire has the maximum width (TW) in a cross-section taken in the width direction of the tread, and this suppresses occurrence of a failure of the external appearance of the projections (50).
