Abstract:

Disclosed is a light adjuster which can be easily assembled and is applied to small imaging devices. The light adjuster comprises two substrates (100, 300) at least one of which has an opening (101, 301), a spacer (400) which defines the distance between the two substrates (100, 300), at least one incident light adjusting means (200) which has a shaft member (202) forming a center of rotation and which rotates in a plane perpendicular to the optical axis direction between the substrates, and at least one drive means which drives the incident light adjusting means (200). The drive means rotates the incident light adjusting means between a position in which the incident light adjusting means corresponds to the opening (101, 301) and a retracted position in which the incident light adjusting means is retracted from the opening to adjust incident light passing through the opening (101, 301). The light adjuster is provided with cut-away portions (102, 302) formed in the substrates to receive the shaft member and a retainer 500 which prevents the incident light adjusting means from being accidentally detached.
