Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a method of chemically synthesizing α(1→4) glycoside cyclic trimers and tetramers; and α(1→4) glycoside cyclic trimers and tetramers that have not been synthesized before.SOLUTION: The present invention provides α(1→4) glycoside cyclic polymers represented by general formula (A) [where Rrepresents a hydrogen atom or a hydroxy protecting group; Rand Reither each represent a hydrogen atom or are linked to each other to represent a specific crosslinking group formed together with the carbon atoms linked to them; and m represents an integer of 3 or 4].SELECTED DRAWING: None
