Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a new 1-methylcarbapenem derivative having strongly antibacterial action, stability to dehydropeptidase and high recovery ratio in urine.
CONSTITUTION: A compound of formula I [R1 is H, alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl or C(=NH)R0 (R0 is H or alkyl); R5 is H or ester residue hydrolyzable in organism; A is group of formula II ((n) is 1-3; R2 is H, alkyl, alkenyl, etc.; R3 and R4 are H, halogen, alkyl, OH, carboxy, etc.), group of formula III ((m) is 0-2; (d) is 0 or 1; R7 is H, alkyl, F, Cl, OH, etc.; R8 is H, alkyl, alkenyl, etc.; R9 is H, alkyl, etc.), group of formula IV ((i) is 1 or 2; R14 and R15 are H o alkyl; R16 is H, cycloalkyl, etc.), group of formula V ((j) and (k) are 1 or 2; R19 is H or alkyl), etc.] such as (1R,5S,6S)-2-[(2S,4S)-2-(4-acetimidoylpiperazin-1- ylcarbonyl)pyrrolidin-4-yl-thio]-6-[(1R)-1-hydroxyethyl]-1-methyl-1-carbapen-2-em-3- carboxylic acid.
