Compounds of the formula (1):
and pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salts are described wherein R<1> is hydrogen, C1-C6 alkyl or C3-C5 alkenyl; R<2> is hydrogen, hydroxy, C1-C6 alkoxy, halogen, trifluoromethyl, C1-C6 alkyl, SOnC1-C6 alkyl, SOnCF3, SOnphenyl or SO2NR<6>R<7>; R<3> is hydrogen, C1-C6-alkyl or C1-C6 alkanoyl; R<4> is SOnR<5> or SO2NR<6>R<7>; n is 0, 1 or 2; R<5> is
or trifluoromethyl; and R<6> and R<7> are hydrogen or C1-C6 alkyl. These compounds are useful in the treatment of gastrointestinal motility disorders. Pharmaceutical compositions and methods of use are described. Intermediates and processes for the preparation of compounds of the formula (1) are described.
