Novel 1-imidazol-1-yl-2-(4'-(4''-chlorophenyl)phenoxy-4,4-dimethylpentan-3-one of the formula and salts of this compound are prepared. The novel ketone is obtained by reacting the compound of the formula II with imidazole. The novel compound prepared can be used as an antimycotic.
