Abstract:
To provide a 11C-labelled acyclic retinoid that can be synthesized at high yield in a short time and is suitable for elucidating intracerebral kinetics for PET, and a PET probe that uses the retinoid, and production methods for the retinoid and the PET probe.SOLUTION: The present invention discloses a 11C-labelled acyclic retinoid represented by a chemical formula (a) shown below. There is also provided a method for producing the retinoid (a) by a coupling step in which 11C-labelled methyl iodide is cross-coupled with an organic tin compound (b) shown below (in the formula, R1 and R2 each represent an optionally branched alkyl group) in an aprotic solvent in the presence of a palladium complex, a phosphine ligand, and a copper(I) halide.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
