Abstract:

To provide a new 1,2-bis(dialkylphosphino)-4,5-(methylenedioxy)benzene derivative forming a metal complex having high asymmetry-inducing ability to β-dehydroamino acid in particular and catalytic activity, to provide a method for producing the same, to provide a metal complex with the same as ligand, and to provide an asymmetrically hydrogenating method using the metal complex.

There is provided the new 1,2-bis(dialkylphosphino)-4,5-(methylenedioxy)benzene derivative represented by general formula (1) (wherein, R¹ and R² are each 1-10C alkyl, differing in the number of carbon atoms from each other).
