Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL: A compd. of formula I (R1 is a 1 to 12C alkyl, a 3 to 7C cycloalkyl, etc.; W is O, S, etc.; R2, R3 are each a (substd.) 1 to 6C alkyl, form a ring together with N, etc.; A is valancy bond, a 1 to 3C alkyl; R4 is a (substd.) arom. ring, etc.; R5 is a substd. benzyl, a (substd.) naphthylmethyl, etc.), and its salt and optical isomer.
EXAMPLE: 2-(N-Pyrrolidino)-6-methyl-N-phenyl-N-benzyl-heptylamine-oxalate.
USE: A therapeutic agent for cardiac diseases and circulatory diseases. More particularly the compd. exhibits vasorelaxation activity.
PROCESS: The compd. of formula I is obtd. by bringing a compd. of formula II and a compd. of formula III into reaction in the presence of an alkaline condensing agent (e.g.: sodium amide) in an inert solvent (e.g.: triol) at room temp. to reflux temp.
