PURPOSE: To provide a new 1,2,3-triazole derivative having an excellent juvenile hormone-like activity, having an excellent control potency against various insect pests including parasites developed in the resistance against existing insecticides. and useful as an insect pest control agent.
CONSTITUTION: A 1,2,3-triazole derivative of formula I [R1 is a group of formula II (R6 is H, halogen, alkyl, alkoxy, alkylthio, cyano, nitro; r is 1-15) or a group of formula -Z-R7 (Z is O, S or single bond); R2 is H, halogen, alkyl; R3-R5 are H, methyl; W is O, S; X is O, single bond; Y is O, S, -NH-methylene; p is 0-2; g is 1, 2], e.g. 2-[3-(4-phenoxyphenoxy)propyl]-2H-1,2,3-triazole. The compound of formula I is obtained by reacting a compound of formula II (A is halogen, mesyloxy, tosyloxy) with a triazole compound of formula II. The 2-hydroxy-2 H-1,2,3-triazole of the intermediate is a new compound.
