PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a completely new polyol compound in the production of a polyester resin, a polyurethane resin, a polycarbonate resin or the like.SOLUTION: There is provided a 1,2,3,4-Tetrahydronaphthalene-1,2,3,4-tetrol compound represented by the formula (1).
