Abstract:

To provide an electron-transporting material effective for lowering driving voltage and enhancing luminous efficiency of an organoelectroluminescent element.

The 1,3,5-triazine compound is represented by general formula (1) [wherein R1, R2 and R3 are each independently a hydrogen atom or a methyl group; V and W are each a carbon atom or a nitrogen atom; and Ar is an optionally substituted aromatic hydrocarbon group]. The organoelectroluminescent element comprises the compound as a constituent thereof.
