PURPOSE: 1,4-Benzodioxepin derivative I (R is H, phenyl; R1,2 are H, lower alkyl, aralkyl, cycloalkyl, or form together with adjacent N atom a heterocyclic ring; R3,4 are halogen, lower alkyl, lower alkoxy, CF3, nitro, amino; m, n are 0, 1, 2), and its acid addition salt; e.g. 7-chloro-3-dimethylaminomethyl-2,3-dihydro-5H-1,4-benzodioxepin.
