Abstract:
To provide a 2-(2,3-difluoro-6-vinylphenyl)acetic acid derivative (5) which is an intermediate for producing a 1,7,8-trifluoro-2-naphthol derivative, and to provide a method of producing the same.
The 2-(2,3-difluoro-6-vinylphenyl)acetic acid derivative represented by formula (5) can be produced from a difluorostyrene derivative or from a 2-(2,3-difluorophenyl)acetate ester derivative.
