Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preparing a lipid composition containing much 2-DHA-lysophospholipid, particularly, 2-DHA-lysophosphatidylcholine.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for producing a 2-DHA-lysophosphatidylcholine-containing lipid composition of which a content of lysophosphatidylcholine is 70 wt.% or more with respect to a weight of a composition and a content of DHA is 35 wt.% or more with respect to a weight of a fatty acid of the lipid composition. The method can produce a large amount of a value-added lipid composition having useful physiological activity based on the DHA and excellent emulsification ability from a lipid mixture containing the 2-DHA-phosphatidylcholine at low cost.SELECTED DRAWING: None
