Abstract:
To obtain a constitution which is eliminated in a variation of an inertial force of a piston while making an engine compact in a size, in a four-cycle two-cylinder internal combustion engine.SOLUTION: A balancer crank arm 16 is fixed to an intermediate journal arranged at a crankshaft 8, and a balancer 18 is connected to a balancer crank pin 17 fixed to the balancer crank arm 16 so as to be vertically movable. A cylinder block 1 is connected to the balancer 18 via a turning link 19 extending in a direction orthogonal to a bore axial direction. Therefore, the balancer 18 vertically turns in a state of being supported by the link 19. Since both the balancer 18 and the link 19 are arranged on an oil pan 6, a depth of the oil pan 6 is not necessary to be deep. By this constitution, an engine is prevented from being high in a height while achieving the stable high-speed rotation of the crankshaft 8.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
