PURPOSE: To rearrange the orders with no manual operation by securing selection between the 1st mode to select only the working of a separation/feed device and the 2nd mode to select both operations of the separation/feed device and a picture processing part.

CONSTITUTION: An operator reverses originals P which are put on each other in the order of younger pages and put these originals on a tray 14 of a separation/ feed device 3. Then an OFF-line mode button 37B in a mode selection part 37 is pushed to perform only feed and carry actions of the stacked originals. When no original P exists any more, the originals reversed on a discharge tray 41 are rearranged in the order of younger pages. Then the operator sets again the originals rearranged based on pages on the tray 14 and pushes an ON-like mode button. Thus the device 3 is actuated and at the same time a drive motor 36 for a 2-dimensional scan system 10 is also driven. Thus, the 2-dimensional scan and the picture processing are carried out.
