EXAMPLE: 2-Fluoro-4-hydroxy-5-(1-hydroxy-5-oxa-6-methoxycarbonylhexyl)-4-me thoxycarbonyl-2-cyclopentenone.
USE: An antitumor agent.
PREPARATION: A 2-halo-2-cyclopentenone expressed by formula II is reacted with an aldehyde derivative expressed by formula III to afford the aimed compound expressed by formula I.
