Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL:A compound expressed by the formula.
USE: A phospholipase A2 inhibiting agent and remedy for stomach disease. The aimed compound has gastic acid secretion inhibiting action and antiulcer action due to H+, K+-ATPase inhibiting action as well as phospholipase A2 inhibiting action and is useful as antiphlogistics, antiallergic agent, acute pancreatitis remedy, etc.
PREPARATION: A sponge grown near Hachijo island is Japan sea is collected and extracted using ethanol having two ford amounts of the sponge several times. The extract liquid is condensed under reduced pressure, subjected to two layer distribution by water-ether and then purified to provide the compound expressed by the formula.
