Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a connecting method of a pin terminal to a lead wire providing an pin terminal with uniform pin top form and good appearance.
CONSTITUTION: This connecting method comprises the process of inserting a lead wire 12 to a cylindrical pin terminal 11 having a reversed conical recessed part 13 on the top end opening in such a manner that the lead 12 is protruded from the pin terminal 11 top end; and the process of caulking and connecting the pin terminal 11 to the lead wire 12 by locally pressing and deforming the pin terminal 11. This method further comprises the process of cutting the lead wire 12 protruded from the pin terminal 11 near the pin terminal 11; and the process of pushing the lead wire 12 slightly protruded from the pin terminal 11 into the recessed part 13 of the pin terminal 11 by pressing the lead wire 12.
