Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL:2-(Polyfluoroalkyl)halogenobenzimidazole of formula I (R is identical or different halogen; X is H, F; m is 3W9; n is 1W4).
EXAMPLE: 2-(Heptafluoropropyl)benzimidazole bromide.
USE: It is used as insecticide and acaricide. In discloses excellent acaricidal and insecticidal effects against insect pests in Hemiptera, Lepidoptera, Diptera, Cockroach, Tetranychida, Ixodidae and other harmful mites.
PREPARATION: The compound of formula I is obtained by reaction of a 2-(polyfluoroalkyl)benzimidazole with a halogenating agent or of a halogenophenylenediamine of formula III with a compound of formula IV.
