Abstract:
To provide an agent which inhibits 20-HETE-producing enzyme participating in constriction or dilation of minute blood vessels in main organs including kidney and cerebral vessels, cell proliferation and the like.
The 20-HETE-producing enzyme inhibitor has an N-hydroxyformamidine derivative represented by formula A [where R1 is hydrogen, a 1-4C alkyl group, a 1-4C alkoxy group or a halogen; A is a 1-10C alkylene group or formula B (wherein m, n, and p are each an integer of 0-4); and R is an N, N-di-1-6C alkylamino group, a dioxanyl group, a dioxanyl group replaced with a 1-4C alkyl group, a 1-4C alkoxy 1-4C alkoxy group or the like] or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt as an active ingredient.
