Abstract:

To obtain a 2,2'-bipyridine inclusion-type dendrimer having a 2,2'-bipyridine type skeleton in the core part of a dendrimer in which its certain kind is useful as a 2,2'-bipyridine type bidentate ligand to become a raw material of an organic group-modified type Lewis acid catalyst.

The dendrimer is represented by general formula (I) [G is a group represented by general formula (II) (R1, R2 and R3 are each a bifunctional hydrocarbon group; X is H or a hydrocarbon group which may be substituted; Y and Z are each O, S, SO, SO2, a bifunctional connecting group composed of an ester group, an amide group or a carbonyl group; p, q, r, s and t are each 0 or 1; n is an integer of ≥1; at least two of d, e and f are 1 and the residue is 0)].
