Abstract:
To obtain a new compound exhibiting a positively inotropic action and useful for the treatment of cardiac insufficiency.
This compound is expressed by formula I [R1 to R3 are each H or A; R4 is a 1-15C acyl; R5 is NH2, NHA, NA2 or the like; Q is absent or a 1-10C alkylene; (n) is 1-3; A is a 1-6C alkyl) or a salt thereof, e.g., 3-[(2-CN, N-diethylamino)ethoxycarbonyl]-5-[1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-1-(3,4-dimethoxybenzoyl)-6- quinolyl]-6-methyl-2H-3,6-dihydro-1,3,4-thiadiazin-2-one. The compound of formula I is obtained by reacting a compound of formula II with a compound of the formula X-CO2-Q-R5 (X is Cl, Br, OH or a reactive ester of OH). It is preferable that this compound is orally administered at a dose of 0.2-20 mg/kg/day.
