Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide novel phosphorescent trigonal copper carbene complexes.SOLUTION: The complexes comprise a carbene ligand coordinated to a three coordinate copper atom. The complexes may be used in organic light emitting devices. In particular, the complexes may be especially useful in OLEDs used for lighting applications.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
