Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL:A compound shown by the formula I (R1 is H, or group shown by the formula II; R2 and R3 are H, OH, halogen, alkyl, alkoxy, or benzyloxy).
EXAMPLE: 3',5'-Di-O-(4-chlorophenoxycarbonyl)-2'-deoxy-5-fluorouridine.
USE: An antitumor agent. Having low toxicity. 1W600mg/day is administered orally (parenterally). Preferably applied in the form of tablet, capsule, solution, suppository, etc.
PROCESS: 2'-Deoxy-5-fluorouridine is reacted with a chloroformate shown by the formula III, or 2'-deoxy-5-fluorouridine is reacted with phosgene to give a reaction product, which is reacted with a phenol shown by the formula IV, or the reaction product thus obtained is reacted with a benzoyl halide shown by the formula V (hal is halogen).
