NEW MATERIAL: Compd. of formula I {wherein (n) is 0 or 1; (w) is formula II or formula III [wherein X and Z are each O, S, N or NR1 (wherein R1 is H or an alkyl) but when Z is NR1, X is N and when Z is N, X is NR1; Y is C-SR1, C-SOR2 (wherein R2 is an alkyl), C-SO2R2, C-NR1R3 (wherein R3 is H or an alkyl), COR1, CR4 (wherein R4 is a halogen, CF3, CO2R1, phenyl, CN, H, an alkyl, etc.), etc.]}.
EXAMPLE: 5-[3,5-bis(1,1-dimethylethyl)-4-hydroxyphenyl]-2,4-dihydro-3H-1,2,4- triazole-3-thione.
USE: Useful for curing arthritis or other inflammation diseases, allergic diseases, pain, fever and psoriasis.
PROCESS: For example, sodium methoxide is reacted with 2-[3,5-bis(1,1- dimethylethyl)-4-hydroxybenzoyl]-hydrazinecarbothioamide to obtain a compd. of formula I.
