NEW MATERIAL: A compound expressed by the formula I (wherein R1 is 1-6C alkyl, 4-9C cycloalkylalkyl or benzyl; R2 and R3 are each lower alkyl; R2 and R3 form a 3-6C alkylene chain; R4 is formulae II-III (wherein R5-R10 are each H, halogen, lower alkoxy or lower alkyl; R5 is also OH or CF3 ; R7 is OH, CF3 or CH3; R9 is OH; R10 is OH, CF3 in the case of R9 being H or NO2; R11 is H or lower alkoxy in the case of R9 and R10 being lower alkoxy)] and their acid addition salts.
EXAMPLE: 7diphenylmethyl3-butyl-9,9dimethyl-3,7-diazabicyclo [3,3,1]nonane.
USE: A pharmaceutical agent having an anti-arrhythmia action and palmus lowering action useful for prophylaxis and treatment of cardiac circular diseases.
PROCESS: A compd. of the formula IV is allowed to react with a compd. of the formula R4-X (wherein OH in R4 has a protective group; X is a group removable by aminolysis) and then an OH-protecting group present is removed, to obtain a compd. of the formula I.
