Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To judge automatically a suitable propagation velocity with a central value by setting the central value for estimating the visibility of an image every propagation velocity when three-dimensional voxel data are displayed with an image. SOLUTION: This three-dimensional voxel data (x, y, t) displaying method includes a process which executes migration treatment or synthetic aperture treatment for the every data propagation velocity and forms the every data propagation velocity, a maximum absolute value extracting process which extracts the maximum absolute value of amplitude values in the reflection time t axis direction every position (x, y) of a medium surface with respect to the data, a plane arrangement process which arranges the maximum absolute values on a prescribed plane and forms an image, a central value calculating process which calculates the central value for estimating the visibility of the image, a propagation velocity selecting process which selects a suitable propagation velocity from the plurality of propagation velocities on the basis of the central value, and a display process which displays the maximum absolute value or the data for each of the positions (x, y) on a medium surface corresponding to the propagation velocities.
