Abstract:
The invention relates to 4,5-di(phenyl)oxazole-2-propionic acid derivatives of the general formula < IMAGE > in which R<+> stands for an alkali metal cation or an amino acid or aminoglucoside cation in each case having an amine radical which contains a quaternary nitrogen atom, and to a process for their preparation and medicaments containing these compounds. In contrast to the original free acid, these compounds are distinguished by a remarkable water solubility and are therefore also suitable for the production of pharmaceutical preparations to be administered parenterally. The compounds have an appreciable anti-inflammatory and analgesic activity.
