Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP5928934

A four-stroke engine (2, 202) includes a cylinder head (18, 218), a cylinder body (17) connected to the cylinder head (18, 218) and a fuel injection valve (34). The fuel injection valve (34) is held by the cylinder head (18, 218) on a side extending from the exhaust port (22, 222) to the cylinder body (17). The fuel injection valve (34) is arranged so as to supply a fuel mist directly to the combustion chamber (20) by jetting the fuel mist toward the combustion chamber (20).
