Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a new compound capable of keeping amorphous state at ordinary temperature and useful as an organic semiconductor material applicable to photo-cell.
CONSTITUTION: The compound of formula (R is H, alkyl, aryl or aralkyl). The compound can be produced by reacting 4,4',4"-triiodo-triphenylamine with (substituted) phenothiazine in the presence of a base (e.g. potassium hydroxide) and copper powder in a solvent (e.g. decalin).
