NEW MATERIAL:The compound of formula I {R2 is H, CH3, C2H5, phenyl, etc.; R4 is H or CH3; R is R4 or C2H5; R1 is H, CH3, C2H5, β, β'-oxydiethylene, benzyl, allyl, phenylamino, β-[imidazolyl-(4)]-ethyl, carboxymethyl, α-carboxy-β- methyl-propyl, etc.} and formula II to formula IV (R2 is H, CH3 or phenyl; R4 is same as R4 defined in formula I).
EXAMPLE: 4-Methyl-thiocarbamoyl-imidazole.
USE: It is expected to have bioactivity in itself and is also useful as a precursor of a compound expected to have other bioactivity. It is promising to be useful in the field of agricultural chemicals or pharmaceuticals.
PREPARATION: The compounds of formula I to formula IV can be produced by reacting a compound of formula V (M is H, Na, K, Ca, etc.) with an amine selected from a compound of formula VI, 1,6-hexamethylenediamine, 1,2- propylenediamine and piperazine.
