Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel compound as a serine/threonine protein kinase (e.g., AKT protein kinase) inhibitor and a pharmaceutical composition including the compound.SOLUTION: 5H-cyclopenta[d]pyrimidines expressed by the formula I, stereoisomers and pharmaceutically permissible salts of the same, and pharmaceutical compositions including these substances are provided. They are used for diagnosing, preventing, or treating disorders of mammal cells or pathological states related thereto in vitro, in situ, and in vivo. A method for preventing or treating cancer wherein an effective dose of the composition is administered to a mammal requiring such a treatment either alone or in combination with at least one type of additional compound having anticancer characteristics is also provided.
