Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL:The compound of formula I (R1 is vinyl, 2-fluoroethyl or 2-hydroxyethyl; R2 is H or lower alkyl; R3 is lower alkyl; R4 is H or F) and its salt.
EXAMPLE: 6,8-Difluoro-1,4-dihydro-7-( 3-methyl-1-piperazinyl )-4-oxo-1-vinylquinoline-3-carboxylic acid.
USE: Pharmaceuticals having broad antibacterial spectrum against Gram-positive bacteria and Gram-negative bacteria.
PREPARATION: The objective compound of formula I is prepared e.g. by reacting the 6-fluoro-7-halogeno-1,4-dihydro-4-oxoquinoline-3-carboxylic acid derivative of formula II (X is Cl or F) with the piperazine derivative of formula III at room temperature W200°C, if necessary using an organic base such as pyridine, etc. as a solvent.
