Abstract:

NEW MATERIAL: A compd. represented by formula I [R1 is H, alkyl, arylalkyl, R3R4R5Si (R3, R4 and R5 are H or alkyl) or R6CO (R6 is H), R7 is phenyl, naphthyl, franyl oxazolyl, thiazonly, pyrrodinyl, quinolynyl or isoquinolynyl, R9 is H or forms CO or SO along with R1] and its optical or geometrical isomer or its salt.

EXAMPLE: 7-desacetyl-6-(2-dimethylaminoethylaminocarbonyl)-7-(pyridin-2-yl) forskolin.

USE: A treatment drug of heart failure. A medicine having inotropic activity. A drug having memory enforcing activity.

PREPARATION: For example, a compd. represented by formula II (R17 and R18 are alkyl, etc.) is reacted with a compd. represented by formula R7Hal (Hal is halogen) in the presence of metal alkoxide to obtain the compd. represented by the formula I.
