Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL:A compound of formulaI(R1 is H, 1W10C alkyl; R2, R3 are acyl) and when R1, is H, salts of the acid.
EXAMPLE: 7-Hydroxy-PGI2-11,15-diacetate.
USE: Blood platelet coagulation inhibitor, smooth muscle relaxant, hypotensor, antiasthma, antiulcerative and synthetic intermediate of other compounds.
PREPARATION: The reaction of Δ5-sulfinyl-PGI2 of formula II (R11 is 1W10C alkyl) such as 5-phenylsulfinyl-Δ5-PGI1 methyl ester 11,15-diacetate) with sulfur- philic compound such as diethylamine (1.2W20 times the molar quantity of the PGI2) is effected in a solvent of methanol at 0W60°C for 3W24hr. Then, when desired, the product is made into a salt.
