NEW MATERIAL:9-Acylamino-tetrahydroacrydine derivative of formula I [R is alkyl, aralkyl, formula II [R1 is H, alkyl; R2 is H, formula III, formula IV (R3 is H, alkyl), or R1 and R2 incorporate together with N to form formula V; n is 1, 2]; A is formula VI (R4 is H, halogen, alkyl, alkoxy, hydroxyl), formula VII (R5 is H, alkyl), B is formula VIII (R6 is H, alkyl)], and its acid adducts.
EXAMPLE: N-(1,2,3,4-Tetrahydroacrydin-9-yl)butanamide.
USE: It has action to directly activate cholinergic nervous system in disorder and is used for treating senile dementia, Alzheimer's disease and other dysmnesias.
PREPARATION: For example, the reaction between a compound of formula IX and a reactive derivative of the compound of formula X (R10 is alkyl) gives the compound of formula I.
