Abstract:
To provide A19-144, A2-73 and certain anticholinesterase inhibitors, compositions and methods for anti-seizure therapy.SOLUTION: This invention concerns a dosage form comprising a therapeutically effective amount of A19-144 or A2-73 and a therapeutically effective amount of at least one AED. This invention further encompasses a method of treating a subject in need of such treatment comprising administering a therapeutically effective amount of A19-144 or A2-73 in conjunction with a therapeutically effective amount of an AED. In some embodiments, the AED is donepezil, with reference to donepezil at from about 0.5 mg to about 23 mg, and particularly from about 0.5 mg to less than about 5 mg, and more particularly from about 1 to about 3.5 mg. With the synergistic effect in combination with A19-144 or A2-73, doses below 0.5 mg are effective.SELECTED DRAWING: None
