Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide microorganisms having arabinogalactan or arabinogalactan protein assimilation activity, and compositions comprising extracts thereof.SOLUTION: This invention relates to microorganisms of Chitinophaga, Ensifer, or Burkholderia. This invention also relates to degrading methods for arabinogalactan or arabinogalactan protein using the microorganisms, and producing methods for foods and drinks with degraded arabinogalactan or arabinogalactan protein. This invention further relates to screening methods for microorganisms having arabinogalactan or arabinogalactan protein assimilation activity. This invention further relates to arabinogalactan or arabinogalactan protein degrading agents using the microorganisms.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
